What I have learnt
So far I have learnt about how to make and draw relationships in System analysis and Development and what is required to make a good database along with how to develop a database around the clients needs. In Gordon’s lesson we were refreshed on what we learnt last year along with what we will need to do for the course. In Steve’s lesson we have been going through chapters 1, 2 and 3. We have learnt about the OSI model and the PDU model along with how to use packet tracer. In Philipa’s lessons we have been continuing with what we know about C# and developing some more programs to refresh what we learnt last year.
What’s has gone well
So far I have managed to keep up with the work and I am finding the course good. I think that I have done well in the first exam that I have done online on CISCO.
What’s has not gone well
Most of the stuff we have been taught so far I already know from last year. After registration we had to go to Luton University to have a look around but we did the same as we did last year when we went.
Reflection
So far I have been remembering and brushing up on what I did last year and I think that I have done well at what I have learnt. I have found out that I am not very good at writing reflectively and that it is hard to pick out what you have learnt from what you have already learnt the year before.
How I could improve
I think that I could improve by taking more notes and making my notes more detailed as best as I can while being able to keep up with the lessons. I think that I could also improve by writing more for tasks to make them longer rather than just what is needed.
